Caryl Ann Volle, 85, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away on June 17, 2024, at her home.
Caryl was born on June 11, 1939, in La Porte, Indiana, to Oliver "Pete" Gust and Mildred Olson.
On July 7, 1962, in La Porte, Indiana, she married Albert Volle "LVB," who survives. Also surviving are her two daughters, Alyce and Trisha Volle, both of La Porte.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred Olson and Oliver "Pete" Gust; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Caryl worked as a secretary before becoming a homemaker. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Wills Plum Grove Questers Chapter 1415, Red Hats Firecrackers, the Senior Center of Michigan City and the Carmel Cemetery Association Board. Caryl enjoyed collecting antiques.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Dennis Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at Carmel Cemetery.
A time of visitation will be held from 8 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Carmel Cemetery Fund or the Bethany Lutheran Church Radio Fund.

So sorry to hear the loss of this sweet lady. Our mother, Carol (Spencer) Riise, shared so many stories of her and Gussie“s childhood growing up in Pinhook together leading to a lifelong friendship. These two ladies are together again in Heaven! Our deepest sympathies and prayers are sent to Al and the girls during this difficult time.
