Diane Morse Obituary

Diane K. Morse, 71, of Michigan City passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at her home in Michigan City.

Diane's wishes were to have no viewing or services. Cremation will take place.

The Root Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Diane was born March 26, 1954, in Denison, Iowa, to the late Donald and Maxine (Schurke) Weinbrandt.

On March 19, 2013, she married Terrance "Terry" Morse, who is surviving in Michigan City.

Also surviving are three children, Sherri (Gary) Oliver, Nicole (Dale Jr.) Human and Eric (Erin) Salmon; and six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Diane grew up with her three siblings on the family farm in Denison, Iowa.

Diane was a bartender for many years at the Skwiat American Legion Post 451.

She attended Zion Lutheran Church while living in Denison, Iowa. She loved playing card games, visiting different casinos and relaxing in the north woods of Wisconsin. Her greatest kick, though, was spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorials may be made to the Michiana Humane Society.
