Edwin Paul Krueger, 77, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Friday, July 12, 2024, at 4:50 p.m. in Franciscan Health Michigan City.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or services. Private family celebration of life will take place at a later date. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling the arrangements.
He was born Feb. 25, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Edwin E. and Grace (Blackmer) Krueger. On April 11, 1970, he married Barbara Taylor Krueger.
Surviving are his loving wife, Barbara; son, Kristopher (Emily) Krueger; daughter, Kelly (Rich) Kelley; brother, Richard Krueger; two sisters, Linda (Jimmy) Spence and Paulette (Blair) Eppers; eight grandchildren, Sydney, Logan, Cole, Athena, Samantha, Gage, Jasmaine and Kaine; five great-grandchildren; and five nephews, Dayle Taylor and Rick, Russ, Nik and Brian Krueger
He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Krueger; his parents; and brothers, Jack and Robert Krueger.
Ed served in the U.S. Navy (SeaBees) doing two tours in Vietnam. He was a semi truck driver until his retirement two years ago. Ed loved the water, boating and cars. His most recent interest/hobby was wood-working projects.
