Jerry W. McFadden passed from this life to the next on Dec. 15, 2022, in Grand Junction, Colorado.
He was born to Edward Leon and Mollie (Collins) McFadden on March 3, 1953, in La Porte, Indiana. Jerry was just 18 when he served in the Vietnam War and contracted Agent Orange poisoning which caused him a lifetime of pain and health problems. He had the unique opportunity to serve in both the Army and the Navy.
Jerry requested his remains be donated to Tomorrowlink in Denver for medical training and then cremation.
He leaves behind his much loved wife of almost 20 years, Kerrilynne (Pattie) Murphy McFadden; and his four-legged little buddy, Bear. He is also survived by one son, Matthew of Salt Lake City; four grandchildren, Isabella, Aiden, Harley and Taylor; three sisters, Bev Kuta of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, Diana Garrard of Lake Point, Utah, and Lisa Linebaugh of Loudon, Tennessee; two brothers, Jim of Pueblo, Colorado, and Tim of Arizona; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Heather (McFadden) Glenn of Carmel, Indiana; and his parents.
His family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers at HopeWest Hospice in Grand Junction for their dedicated care and support, and especially to his favorite nurse, Miranda. It takes very special people to do what they do. There will be no formal funeral. Please remember to thank our veterans.

It was an honor and privilege to know Jerry. When my late husband Gary and I would visit we were always made to feel welcome and we enjoyed our time with him and Kerry.
I want to thank Jerry or (Mac) as I called him for his ervice to his country and the world in general as war involves everyone.
R.I.P and don't worry we will keep an eye on Kerry
