Larry Allan Linsemeyer, age 70, passed away on Dec. 11, 2025, at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago after a month-long courageous fight.
Larry was born on Jan. 10, 1955, to Edwin and Norma Linsemeyer, who have preceded him in death. On Sept. 30, 1978, he married Mary (O'Blenis) Linsemeyer, with whom he shared more than 47 years of life and family.
He is also survived by his son, David (Amber) Linsemeyer of Porter; his daughter, Amy (Dan) Drenth of Valparaiso; and by his four grandchildren, Lily and Lacie Linsemeyer, and Brenna and Zachary Drenth.
Larry dedicated 44 years of service as an electrician at Bethlehem Steel, now Cleveland Cliffs. He will be missed daily. Larry cherished family gatherings, and watching his grandchildren grow was his greatest joy.
In accordance with Larry's wishes, cremation will take place and no funeral service will be held.
