Priscilla Ladwig, 81, of Michigan City passed away on Friday, Nov. 26, 2021, in Valparaiso, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, at 10 a.m. at the Root Funeral Home; burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m.
Priscilla was born Feb. 23, 1940, in Michigan City to the late Clem and Lillian (Milcarek) Saturday.
On June 3, 1961, in Michigan City, she married Wayne N. Ladwig, who passed away on May 3, 2017.
Surviving is one daughter, Jill Keiser; two granddaughters, Addison and Justine; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Ladwig; one son, Todd Ladwig; and one sister, Patricia Prosser.
Priscilla took care of the family house and helped her husband at Ladwig RV in La Porte. She then went on to work for Kabelins for many years.
She was a member of Queen of All Saints Church, and Michigan City Senior Center, where she loved volunteering and talking with friends. She also loved to travel and had wonderful camping and fishing trips with her granddaughters.
With her love of pets she was also a foster parent for many older pets. She also enjoyed spending time with her group of neighbors who were like family to her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
