Scott William Buehrer, 54, of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021, at home.

He was born May 23, 1967, in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Jack William Buehrer and Shirley A. (James) Buehrer.

A lifelong resident of the area, Scott served in the United States Navy. He was a former member of the Rolling Prairie Lions Club and current member of the Sunday Farmers Antique Tractor Club and the American Legion. Scott enjoyed watching TV and movies, and listening to music.

He is survived by his cousins, Sarah Ann (John) Worthington of North Liberty, Indiana, Cindy (Ed) Barnes of Mill Creek, Indiana, and Jeff (Rosalice) Buehrer; Cindy's children, Adriana (Michael) Barnes-Clizbe and Kyle Barnes; and two uncles, Tom (Sharon) Buehrer of Dade City, Florida, and Fred "Fritz" (Judy) Buehrer of Rolling Prairie, Indiana.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Carla Adams.

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, Indiana, where the family will receive friends on Sunday, Oct. 17, from 4-7 p.m. A Celebration of Scott's Life will be held on Monday, Oct. 18, 2021. at 11 a.m., with Pastor Kay Bond, Salem Chapel, officiating. Interment will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
