She was inducted into the Alpha Delta Chapter of Alpha Lota Sorority in 1969. Sig worked as a teacher's aide at both Boston Middle School and St. John's Lutheran School. Sig loved her dogs, Major, Toby and Tootsie; and her cats, Miss Kitty, Pretty and Ugly. She enjoyed watching the Hallmark Channel, going out to the movies, attending concerts, and even recently attending Comic Conventions with her son and grandson.
Sig's biggest enjoyment and love revolved around her two sons. She was eager to help with no questions asked.
