Therese "Terry" McClure (nee Roberts) age 92, of Northglenn, Colorado, and formerly of Tucson, Arizona, and Michigan City, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020, at her home in Colorado.
She was born Feb. 1, 1928, in Chicago, Illinois, to Edward Franklin and Stella Katherine (nee Griffin) Roberts, who preceded her in death.
Terry was married on July 21, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois, to Roy Earl McClure, who has preceded her in death. In 2001, Terry married Jerome P. Ankiewicz of Tucson, Arizona, who also preceded her in death. Terry's sisters, Vera Schmidt, Mary Melson and Grace Roberts, also preceded her in death.
Terry is survived by her children, Laura McClure Dirks of Louisville, Colorado, Dianne Louise (Robert) Lindenmeyer of Broomfield, Colorado, and Michael Roy (Constance Ambrose) McClure of Broomfield, Colorado. Her grandchildren include Todd (Judy) Lindenmeyer, Thomas (Laura) Lindenmeyer, Anne Dirks (Will) Henderson, Michael (Joseph Tate) Dirks, Katherine Dirks, Patrick (Jana Owens) Lindenmeyer, Amy (Tino) Ramirez, Samuel McClure and Charles McClure. Seven great grandchildren include Ellary, Harper, Boggio, Henry, Nicolas, Madeline and Camila.
Terry and Roy McClure raised their family in Michigan City, Indiana. They attended Queen of All Saints Catholic Church. Terry worked for ITW Phillips Drill as a receptionist. She always appreciated a good joke, and was quick to say a rosary for anyone who needed it. She celebrated any and all milestones with a good martini, whether it was a garage sale or a wedding.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday Aug. 5, 2021, at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, located at 1715 E Barker Ave, Michigan City, Indiana, 46360, with Father David Kime officiating. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home, located at 613 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana, 46360.
