I'm a 3rd cousin 1XR of Barney. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing, and I wish I'd been able to get to know him. Your photo slideshow of him is beautiful. I see some resemblance in his appearance to my own. He seems to have been a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. May God bless him and your family.

I am so sorry for your loss Kathy. I thought the world of Barney. It feels like yesterday we met on that Sunday for the first time for the site tour. Our friendship started that day and I have gotten to know you both over the years. I enjoyed working with Barney and loved hearing his stories. I loved seeing you both. You both were and are incredible people. I wish you the best Kathy and RIP my friend. You will be missed Barney. I hope you are pain free now and sitting up there enjoying the largest bowl of vanilla ice cream.

Barney was a true sportsman and courageous individual. He loved his country, his family and his sport, bowling. It was always fun to be near Barney as he was a larger than life individual with a great sense of humor and motivation. His stories and insight will be sorely missed by us all. Thank you to Cathy for taking such great care of our friend and for all the support you gave him always. Barney was the type of person that made an indelible impression on everyone he met. No one would not remember who Barney Egan was after one meeting because of the charisma and zest for life he overwhelmed you with. The term "like Barney Egan" will be the future reference everyone who knew him will use to describe those few amazingly exuberant and loving people you meet in the course of your lifetime. It was an honor to be his friend. God bless him. Scott Wilbur, Motiv

Very sorry to hear of Barney's passing. I know it's very sad, but also a good thing considering his health issues in recent years. I have only known Barn for less than 10 years through bowling, but I am glad I had the opportunity to get to know him. He was a very strong man and I know these recent years were difficult. Your family is in my prayers. I pray that God gives you all peace and comfort during this time.
