Bernard Nelson Obituary

Bernard R. Nelson Bernard, age 85, was born and raised in Grand Ledge. He was a local mason, specializing in Michigan fieldstone. His work ranged from fireplaces to large commercial work as in the retaining wall donated to St. Michaels Church in Grand Ledge. He relocated to Naples FL, in 1973. He was preceded in death by sisters, Beatrice, Francis, and Pat; brothers, Richard and Fred. He is survived by a brother, Frank; sons, Richard, Larry, Rodney, Dave, and Steve; and 8 grandchildren. Memorial service was held Wednesday, January 5th, at Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Rd., Naples, FL, 34119.

I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Barneys passing. I have many fond memories of the many family get togethers we had, when Barney and the family still lived in Grand Ledge. Even though he is now gone from this life our memories will always live.
