Charlotte Ecklund Obituary

Charlotte Elaine Ecklund Born July 4, 1951 and went home to be with our Lord on April 30, 2012. Survived by childhood sweetheart, husband, and life partner Michael David Ecklund; son Daniel Stephen Ecklund, wife Mary and children Adam and Bethany; daughter Joy Elizabeth Lopez, husband Tony and daughter Ava; Mother Arrie Ethel Guenther, sister Dixie Fogerty and brother Hollis Guenther; many other beloved relatives and friends. Devoted to family and friends throughout her life, she exemplified the Godly wife and mother. Placing others before self, she was the Biblical Martha, always ready to serve where she was needed. An excellent nurse, she spent as much time as needed to make sure the patients had the best care and fretted if she thought the care was less than perfect. She was the happiest doting on her children and grandchildren. She was also content to ride the Toro lawn mower for therapy. Her Rainbow vacuum was hardly ever put away, as was her nature to keep things organized and tidy. But her most constant technological companion was her cell phone, with which she kept in touch with those she loved and cared for. Her fondest wish is that you might accept her Christ, her Lord and Savior, so that she might be able to see you again! In lieu of flowers, please make life better for those whose charities you support and please share the Gospel of Jesus with those around you today!

So very sorry to hear that Char has left this life. She was one of my classmates at Williamston High. She was a sweet, always smiling, caring person. My husband suddenly passed away 6 months ago so I know the pain of losing someone you love so much. Isn't it wonderful when we know they have gone to heaven and we will one day see them again if we have accepted the Lord as our Savior. Prayers for the entire family!
