Christian G. Harr Lansing, MI Age 91; passed on to his heavenly home on Thursday, April 17, 2008 peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family and friends. Christian was born February 6, 1917 to Gottlieb and Kathrina (Miller) Harr in Lehr, ND. He was preceded in death by his son, Lloyd Harr of Spring Lake. Surviving are his loving wife of 69 years, Helena; daughter, Donna Christian of Lansing; son, Glenn (Dawn) Harr of Mason; daughter-in-law. Gail Harr of Spring Lake, MI; grandchildren, Greg and Brenda Harr, Cindy Neeson, Shane, Darren (Jennifer) and Kendra Christian, Katie and Christian Harr; 9 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at Colonial Village Baptist Church, 2010 Boston Blvd., Lansing with Pastor H. Randolph Morgan and Pastor Jack Clarkson officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing. The family will receive friends at Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing on Monday from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Services of Michigan Hospice, 825 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48912 in honor of Christian Harr.
