Gary P. Batterbee

Stockbridge - Gary P. Batterbee moved to his heavenly home, while surrounded by family, on June 21, 2021 at the age of 74. He was born on May 24, 1947 in Lansing, Michigan, the son of Percy and Beatrice (Burbank) Batterbee.

Surviving are his wife Marianne; children Thomas (Shawne), and Carrie (Harold); grandchildren Tyler and Devin. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Theresa, Joann, and Dorothy.

Gary was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved to give hugs and spend time with his family. He put his family's needs ahead of his own, and was always on the lookout to "help out" in any way possible. Even during his battle with Alzheimer's, he remained a jokester, and blessed us with a wonderful day on his birthday recently with dancing, joking, and laughter.

His family is planning to hold a Celebration of Life picnic for friends and family later this summer. Details will follow. We are truly blessed beyond measure and in lieu of flowers, gifts, or memorials, we ask that in the spirit of helping others you bless another person with an act of kindness.

"Those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:31
