Lansing
Passed away on January 26, 2017 at age 81. Born March 22, 1935 the third oldest of twelve to Ed & Rose Lindemann. Gerald graduated from Resurrection High School class of 1953. He loved contact sports, the outdoors, crafts, painting, woodworking, puzzles and games of chance. In 1955 he became a self-employed business man with Lindy's Restaurant and O'neils Restaurant & Bar Supply Inc. Gerald honorably served in the US Army where he also attended culinary school during his tour in Germany. Gerald will forever be remembered for his positivity that inspired others and will carry on for generations. Preceding him in death were his wife, Helen Lindemann; very special friend, Betty Strang; 3 siblings and his parents.
Surviving are his daughter, Tamara (Clark Moore) Lindemann; sons, Michael Lindemann, Matthew (Brook Chappell) Lindemann; 8 siblings; Betty's children; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Church of the Resurrection in Lansing with Fr. Steve Mattson as Celebrant. Family will receive friends for visitation on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Skinner Funeral Home, Lansing Chapel.
