I met Jean after she approached me to purchase copies of my poetry. We exchanged correspondence by email over a period and I came to recognise her as a very cognisant woman full of the desire to enrich the lives of others by her example and friendship. Her seniority brought with it some physical limitations but they never were allowed to restrict her wish to continue to live a full life. Jean was a great encourager and inspiration for me. Despite the fact we never met in person I will miss our exchanges and regret her passing.
