Kayla M. Crowell died unexpectedly Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the age of 22. She was born July 14, 1992 in St. Johns, MI the daughter of Rodney and Diana (Gordon) Crowell.  She graduated from St. Johns High School with the Class of 2010 and was currently taking some college classes.

Surviving are her parents, Rodney (Mae) Crowell of St. Johns and Diana (Don) Wittkopp of Terrell, TX; her brother, Casey Crowell and his fiancée Kaitlyn Young; half brother, Tim Gorman; step-sisters, Megan (Andy) May, Heather (Joshua Blakeman) Platte, Jennifer (Michael) Schrader; nephews, Jonathan Schrader and Karcyn Crowell grandparents, Richard and Norma Crowell of St. Johns.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 6, 2015 at St. John's Lutheran Church 511 E. Sturgis, St. Johns with Rev. Dr. Bryan Salminen officiating.  The family was assisted with these arrangements by Keck-Coleman Funeral Home, St. Johns.
