DeWitt

Phyllis Maxine Benedict, 88, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2016. She was born in DeWitt, Michigan on July 17, 1927 the daughter of Orla and Blanch Law. Phyllis was a homemaker and attended the Valley Farms Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one sister, Wilma Bandt. Left behind to cherish her memory are her two children, Joanne and Jon; two granddaughters; two great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating Phyllis' life will be held at a later date. For those desiring, memorial contributions in Phyllis' memory may be made to the Valley Farms Baptist Church, 1141 E. State Rd., Lansing, MI 48906.

Joanne and Jon,
Your mother was a faithful friend to my mom, Leola Eubank, for many years. She always appreciated Phyllis calling and checking in with the latest news. They are reunited in the Lord's presence. May God bless you with abundant grace during this difficult time.
