Phyllis Doolittle Obituary

Phyllis M. Doolittle Lansing Phyllis M. Doolittle passed away Friday, May 14, 2010, at the age of 86. She was born July 5, 1923, in Streatham, England, the daughter of Harry J. and Maud Harrison Emery. Surviving are her son, Ronald M. Doolittle; granddaughter, Autumn Brook Goll; grandson, Eric (Krystal) Miller; and great-grandson, Sebastian Emery Goll. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mac R. Doolittle; and brothers, Eric and Ronald Emery. She was a long-time member of South Church, and a member of the Red Hat Society. She served for 4 ½ years in the British Women's Auxiliary Air Force and was a decorated member of the Lioness Club of Lansing and Battle Creek. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 20, 2010, at South Church, 5250 Cornerstone Dr., Lansing, with Pastor Doug Phillips officiating. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at West Clarendon Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, and at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
