HeatonOct. 11, 1914 - Nov. 1, 2011 YUKON Rebecca Carolyn Heaton, 97, of Yukon, OK passed away Nov. 1, 2011 at Spanish Cove Retirement Village. She has been living in Yukon since 1997 coming from Lake Eufaula where she and her husband Loren lived. They had a cabin at the lake after their retirement. She was born Oct. 11, 1914 in Davenport, OK to Erah and Carrie (Colvin) Lowe. She was a homemaker and was also a minister's wife who served in many churches across the state. She was also part of the United Methodist Women's Group. She also enjoyed needlepoint, knitting and sewing and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Reverend Loren Heaton and sister Nollie Henderson. She is survived by her sons John Heaton and wife Anne of Duncan, OK, James Heaton and wife Tracy of Tulsa, OK; daughter Jeanne Pratt of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren Mark Heaton, Sheryl Powers, Daniel Pratt and Christopher Pratt; great grandchildren Kyla Powers, David Powers and Sebastian Hibbert. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. Memorial services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday November 5, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church of Yukon.
