Robert V. Bamford, age 94, died November 19, 2016. He was born on July 21, 1922 in Livingston County, to Ephraim V.  and Anna E. (Love) Bamford. Robert served 4 years in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He worked as a Superintendent for Christman Construction Co. having great pride in overseeing several large projects in Central Michigan.

Beverly Gene Bamford, age 93, died July 26, 2017. She was born on October 8, 1923 in Flint, to Elzie D. and Winnie J. (Shepard) Haun. Beverly's work as a secretary includes working for Michigan National Bank, Barker Fowler and Haslett Public Schools.

Robert and Beverly were life members of the Haslett Baptist Church. They enjoyed thirty plus years at their home in Florida and cottage at Coldwater Lake. They especially enjoyed time with family and their grandchildren.

Robert was preceded in death by parents E. Verne and Anna Bamford; sister, Leone Baker, and brother-in-law, Richard Baker. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents Winnie Haun, Elzie and Martha Haun; sister, Gwen Tomlinson; brother-in-law, Bud Tomlinson; step-brother, Richard Smith, and step-sister, Ruth Carlson.

Surviving is their son, Jack (Jan) Bamford; daughters Sandra (Don) Richards and Susan (Stuart Neils) Bamford; grandchildren, Nick (Melissa) Richards, Heather (Brian) Willing, Lance (Kathrin) Richards, Jason Bamford and Janelle (Nick) Crockett; great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Isaac and  Ethan Richards, Livia and Max Willing, Sage and Arlo Richards, and Ben Crocket.

There will be a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. on August 16, 2017 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.  The family would like to thank the employees at the Ingham County Medical Care Facility for the wonderful care their parents received.
