June, Diane, Lori and Family:
My heart is broken that "Uncle Steve" is no longer physically with us, but will always be a presious memory to me. I planned to come this summer to be with you all one more time, however God's timing had different plans. I have so many special memories of Uncle Steve and Aunt June through the years from when I was a child visiting them in Lansing and also the speciall times when Dad and I visited them in Houlton Lake. God blessed June and Steve with so many years together and you have been a blessing to our family and so many others. Diane and Lori, you have been so faithful to your parents and I admire and commend you for your loving care of them. It's wonderful to know we will all meet again in Heaven. God Bess You, Your Niece and Cousin, Karen

Dear Lori and Diane, I am so sad to hear of your father's passing. I hold special memories of him and your mother in my heart of our many trips together to "Old Trail Drive-Houghton Lake" when we were teens. I can still hear your father saying to me with his funny smile, "Patti, do you want to see my fishies?" What a dear and funny man he was. Your father is now in heaven and will watch over your mother, both of you, and your families every day. It is so difficult losing your parents. Hold tightly to the love and memories you shared with your father, and your faith that he is in a better place. After three+ years, I still strongly feel my parents with me every day. May God comfort you and bring you strength during this difficult time. Take good care of your dear mother and yourselves. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I am sending you both a big hug. Love, Patti McKenna-Ley

Steve was one of my first supervisors at the Post Office and a friend of my fathers. He was a kind and understanding man. God bless him and his family.
