Tim Miller Owosso Tim Miller, age 59, was called home by his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Avalon Hospice, Flint, MI. Funeral Services will be held at Northgate Wesleyan Church, Owosso on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Cal Emerson will officiate. Visitation will be held on Friday March 4, 2011 from 2-8 p.m. with family present 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Smith Family Funeral Homes Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso. Timothy was born in Owosso, Michigan on March 15, 1951, the son of Cameron and C. June (Kibby) Miller. He was a graduate of Ovid-Elsie High School and Tim resided most of his life in Shiawassee County. Tim married Beth Sleeseman on June 14, 1986 in Owosso; this June they would have been married 25 years. Tim worked as a Parts Specialist for Young Chevrolet Cadillac. He enjoyed woodworking, tractors, antique guns and his Ford Model A car. In his younger years, Tim was a race car driver at Owosso Speedway. He was a member of Northgate Wesleyan Church, Owosso. He is survived by his wife Beth Miller of Owosso, MI, daughter Olivia Miller of Owosso, MI, son Zeb Miller of Owosso, MI, daughter Teala Alpizar of Red Bluff, CA, grandson Tony Alpizar of Red Bluff, CA, sister Marlene and Frank Matrau of Vernon, MI, and brother Jerry Miller of Bancroft, MI. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Marchon Kilgore. Memorial contributions may be made to "Struttin' Our Stuff" Relay For Life Team or Northgate Wesleyan Church Missions Fund.
