Albert James "Cadillac" Patterson

1940 - 2017

Lubbock- 77 of Lubbock, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017. Albert was born on January 21, 1940 to E. L. Patterson and Novice Holmes Joiner in Spur, TX. James completed his early education in Spur, TX where he graduated from Haynes High School. He worked for Nunn Electric for several years. Albert leaves to cherish is his memory; four brothers, John Joiner (Gwen), Freddie Patterson, George Patterson, and Jimmy Patterson; four sisters, Hattie Walls, Earnestine Barrett, Eula Mae Bender (Hilton), and Elnora Stokes (Simmie); three aunts, Lois Berry, Janie Price, and Corene Tryels; a host of other relatives and friends. Celebration of life service will be held Monday, October 2, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Ford Memorial C.O.G.I.C. Interment will follow at Peaceful Garden Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. today at Griffin Mortuary.
