Bill Saathoff

Bill Saathoff LUBBOCK-William Bill Arthur Saathoff of Lubbock passed away on Monday, Jan. 11, 2016, at the age of 81. He was born March 26, 1924, in Fairbury, Ill., to Henry and Helen (McDaniel) Saathoff. He served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years, in aircraft systems maintenance. Bill was married to Mary Hamilton. Bill was a member of Square Dance with Sidewinders in Palm Springs and Starwillers in Yucca Valley, Calif. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary; one daughter, Alexandra Presley; three sons, Brion Saathoff, Brent Saathoff, and William Arthur Saathoff, Jr.; one sister, Jo Potts; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Doris Jacobs. Memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016, at First Church of the Nazarene.
