BUTCH FAIR Obituary

Butch Fair LUBBOCK-Memorial services for Butch Fair, 56, of New Deal, Texas, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016, in Bacon Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Dominguez officiating. Cremation and services are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy, Texas. Mr. Fair died Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, in Lubbock, Texas. He was born Feb. 17, 1959, in Kermit, Texas. He married Cindy Tedder on June 9, 1978 in Smyer, Texas. He worked as an auto glass installer beginning in 1979 and owned and operated Butch's Auto Glass from 2005 until 2013 when he began working at the Lubbock State Supported Living Center. He was a member of Community Heights Baptist Church in Lubbock and was a founding member of Cross Riders motorcycle ministry. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Fair of New Deal, Texas; his mother, Verna Williams of Ralls, Texas; a son, James Fair and wife, Katina of Amarillo, Texas; daughter, Tiffany Fair of San Antonio, Texas; granddaughter, Stephanie Fair of New Deal, Texas; brother, Alton Adkins of Dallas, Texas; sister, Belinda Rendon of Lubbock, Texas; and a stepsister, Ollie Tinker Ellison of Arizona. The family suggests memorials be sent to Community Heights Baptist Church, 5605 46th Street, Lubbock, TX 79414.

Our family is so sorry to hear about the passing of Butch. Our prayers to Cindy and family. This just comes as a shock as Butch was so full of life.
