Cara Dawn Russell LUBBOCK-Cara Dawn Russell, 61, of Lubbock passed away Jan. 24, 2017. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, in the Woodberry Forest Cemetery in Madill, OK. Services are under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home. Her family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 26th, at the funeral home. Cara was born Aug. 31, 1955, in Amarillo, Texas, to Dorman and Wanda McLaughlin. She graduated from Coronado High School in 1974. She was a health care provider at Brookdale Nursing Home and the Garrison Center. She married Kenneth Russell, Sr. in 1983. Loved ones include husband, Kenneth Russell, Sr.; mother, Wanda McLaughlin; sister, Elaine Hudnall; sons, Cedric Russell and Russell Russell, Jr.; and grandchild, Jaylan Russell.
