Clara Bell Obituary

Clara Bell IDALOU-Clara Nell Bell of Idalou passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at the age of 75. She was born March 18, 1941, in Spur, Texas, to Louis and Adie Mae (Holder) Bell. She was a homemaker. Clara married Dan Bell on Dec. 19, 1969, in Becton, Texas. She was a member at First Baptist Church in Idalou. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband; children, Pamela Chivers, Vicky Brady and husband, Merl, Suzan Henry and husband, Eddie, Mike Chapa and wife, D'Aun, Cory Bell and wife, Lynn, Danny Bell and wife, Kathy and Allan Bell and wife, Teresa; sisters, Betty Shaw and husband, Ron and Dottie Edquist and husband, Manuel; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Clara was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2016, at First Baptist Church in Idalou. The family suggests memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Lubbock, 3702 21st Street, Lubbock, TX 79410. Please celebrate the life of Clara by visiting www.combestfamilyfuneralhomes.com.

I met her a couple of times with her son Mike. What a sweet lady and she really loved playing golf. I know that her husband Dan will miss all the good times and trips they took together.
