Felipa Ferrer LUBBOCK-Services for Felipa V Ferrer, 89 of Lubbock will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 21, 2015, at Our Lady of Guadalupe with Father Martin Pi a officiating. Interment will be at City of Lubbock Cemetery. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2015, at Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Mrs. Ferrer passed away on Aug. 14, 2015, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on Feb. 5, 1926, in McAllen, Texas, to her late parents Pablo and Bernarda (Veliz) Villarreal. She later on married Juan Ferrer. He preceded her in death in 1995. She enjoyed music, singing and her beloved pet, Beauty. She was a Guadalupana in Plainview in the 60's. Mrs. Ferrer is survived by two sons, Gonzalo V Perez, Joel V Perez both of Lubbock; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Gilbert V Perez and a daughter, Elisa Perez.
