Guadalupe T. Quezada LUBBOCK-Services for Guadalupe T. Quezada, 63, of Lubbock will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2015, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic church at 3111 Erskine Ave with Fr. Philip Pasupil officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery under the direction of Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Family will be receiving friends at 6 p.m. and evening services will begin at 7 p.m. at the Chapels. She passed into the waiting arms of Jesus on July 31, 2015. Guadalupe was born Oct. 3, 1951, in Flatonia, Texas, to her late parents: Octavio and Maria Torres. Silo married the love of her life, Francisco Quezada on March 24, 1984, at Our Lady of Grace Church in Lubbock. Guadalupe was a loving social butterfly and cared deeply for those around her. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She enjoyed dancing, television miniseries, and sewing. She attended St. Michael in Levelland and loved to volunteer her time there. She is survived by her husband, Francisco Frank; and son, Fernando, both of Levelland; sisters, Santos Soto and Julia Proa, both of Mansfield, Texas; Mary Hellen of San Antonio and Pauline Segura of Richmond; also brother, Arthur and Octavio Torres Jr., both of Lubbock. Preceding her in death are brothers, Carmen, Bias and Jose Torres along with sister, Viviana Vivl Morales.
