Keith Richter Obituary

Keith R. Richter LUBBOCK-Keith R. Richter, 54, of Lubbock danced his way into Heaven on Sept. 24, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2012, at 1 p.m. in Resthaven's Abbey Chapel with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held tonight from 6 to 7 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home. Keith was born on July 27, 1958, in Lubbock to Rudy and Evelyn Richter. He was a very special young man that was loved by all and he loved them right back. He had a very gentle spirit that allowed him to accept everyone for who they were. He loved to sing and dance as well as being with his family and friends. He was a member of the Forrest Heights United Methodist Church. Keith is survived by his mother, Evelyn Richter; eight cousins, Cyndy, Lorinda, Suzanne, Barbara, Carolyn, Camille, Karen and Kim; one uncle, Hugo Richter; one aunt, Helen Langley; and a very special friend, Frances. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Rudy Richter, and grandparents, Homer and Bula Keith, and Helene and Hugo Richter. The family would like to extend a very special thank-you to the staff of SouthHaven and Libby Claunch for their loving care, and also to Day Break and Lubbock Adult Day Care for their special part in Keith's life. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association. Condolences may be offered at www.resthavenfuneralhome.com.
