What a sweet, beautiful, gracious, giving and fun friend I had in "The One and Only, Myka Dean!" She is an original! And I cherish that in people. We had so much fun laughing, talking, crying, then laughing again over the phone the past few years. I am so grateful for every moment we shared. Not one conversation over the past 40 years with Myka did she ever not remind me and laugh about running around out at my dad's dairy and being chased by a bull. We had so much together always. I'm so glad our paths crossed again. We picked up right we left off many moons ago. I love her! I will miss her! My heart aches for all who loved her. Many continued thoughts and prayers to her family and many friends. Especially Diane and Maury. You are in my heart. And also, Mrs. Virginia Dulin. Thank you so much for calling. love you all.

One of the hardest parts of parenthood is losing a child. My heart aches for Diane and Scott knowing they are heart-broken, and grieving Myka's passing. I know God will wrap them with a comforted blanket of His peace. My prayers go out to all the family members trying to cope in this time of loss.

Myka was a friend to my daughter when they were teenagers. Myka would frequently come to the house to visit. She was a delight. Full of life and energy. I enjoyed her enthusiasm and infectious laughter. Seems like she would bring up something new with each visit. Never a dull moment. I haven't seen her since my daughter married. So many years have passed since then. It's my loss for losing touch with her. She will be missed.
