Nina Smith Obituary

Nina R. Smith LUBBOCK-Nina R. Smith, of Lubbock, passed from this life on March 21, 2014. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life of 54 years on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. A reception will be held immediately following the service. Nina was born on Nov. 4, 1959, in Manchester, England. As her life progressed, she married the love of her life and they were soon blessed with two sons. Her only passion in life was spending time with her family. Her two sons were the center of her universe and she will be so deeply missed. She is survived by two sons, Tanner Smith and Tyler Smith; her ex-husband and friend for life, Todd Smith; her stepfather, Robert Downing; her sister, Gabrielle Akin and husband Rick; her brother, Julian Browning; her in-laws, Terry and Marilyn Smith; as well as many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Astrid (Hjertum) Browning.
