Ray Hargrove-Huttel Obituary

Ray Ann Hargrove-Huttel TERRELL- The bright light that was Ray Ann Hargrove-Huttel, 57, was extinguished Sunday, December 23, 2012. She also leaves behind her sisters, Gail Hargrove, and Debbie Hargrove, her partner, Paula Newman, and their son Benjamin Newman-Hargrove, all of Lubbock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Huttel, and her parents, Leo Ray and Nancy Ann Hargrove. Ray was a caregiver from her early years when she served as a candy-striper in Terrell, Texas. I just found out and I am deeply saddened, She was The Greatest Teacher I have ever had. When I was in nursing school and taking care of my kids and working at the same time I could not afford my PIN , She had faith in me and when it came my turn to get pinned she pulled it out and stated "I KNEW YOU WOULD DO IT" , My carrer and beliefs you instilled in me , forever you will be missed .

I still cherish the memories I have of Ray. She took great pride in each of us nursing students, wanted us each to be a success...Just like her! She made us true "care-givers." God had a wonderful plan for her life...it touched many of ours! You are missed!
