MARINE.

Few earn the title "United States Marine".
Once earned they are Marines forever.

When they die, their Honor Clean, they stand before Heavens Gates and see two signs, one eternal peace, the other "Marines"

Below the sign Marines is a path, the Marine follows the path to a quonset hut, knocks three times, and enters.
Behind a table stand two Marines, Colonel Lewis B. Puller, and Sergeant Major Dan Daly.

The SgtMaj. hands the Marine a quill pen and bottle of red black ink, you sign your name to the duty roster, after which your Heavenly Robes fade replaced by standard Marine Corps issue you smile, due a right face and out the hatch to the Yellow Footprints to muster as the USMC Devil Dog Division.

Your purpose is clear to fight the forces of evil for all eternity under the orders of the ultimate Commander-In-Chief GOD ALMIGHTY.

By the Grace of God
and a few Marines.
It's good to be home.

Semper Fi, "Bob".

I loved this man, dearly. I am saddened I did not get to see him just one more time before he gained his wings. I miss you sweet Marcia, and know that I lift your family up in prayer.
