I will always remember Sweet Sara with her flim flam Friday posts, her inspiring post, her photos of cheesecakes and her sugar free suckers for her hubby. She was an amazing friend. She was there for me after I lost my son. She would keep encouraging and telling me you will see him again. I will always remember that. Yes, Sweet Sara we will see each other again. Love you sister in christ. Praying for your husband and your sweet children.

Sara was a classmate at MHS - we sang in Chorale together and were friends. My most vivid memory was when her Dad showed me the big game trophy room at their house. She was so very kind and such a great friend to all. Thankful that she is now present with Christ, her Savior and Lord.

Sara, you've been a such a bright light when there was none. A happy and smiling face to cheer us up. A positive attitude when we were down. Good advice when we needed to hear it. Daily reminders of how much we are loved by The Lord our God. You gave us so many laughs over the years -trying to keep up with your flawless grammar, your Flim-Flam-Fridays, and wearing our special "Thanksgiving Pants" every November. Sweet friend, you are so loved. You're adored. You're cherished. You're so much to so many. And your precious family will remain in our prayers. It's definitely not GOODBYE. It's SEE YOU LATER.

I did not know Sara that long, or that well, but I always felt a connection to her. I wish our paths had crossed earlier. She was such an inspiration. I was honored to call her my friend and she made me feel she felt the same about me. Fly high sweet Sara. You will be missed by everyone you came in contact with. That is quite a legacy.

I Can Only Imagine. <br />Love you Sara!

Our Sara was such a gift. One we did nothing to deserve, but were given, nonetheless.
I loved her from the day I met her. You couldn't help but love her!
She was a calming voice of reason when we couldn't see the point. A comedienne when a laugh was needed. A counselor when things got to be too much. A light in the dark, and most importantly to me, just an all around great friend with an unwavering sense of loyalty. Sara was whatever it was you needed her to be. That's an uncommon trait in this world.
I thank God that he put her in my life for the short time that we had together here.
I know we are devastated by her leaving us, but I also know that she's already in her new home, sitting in the parlor, smiling down at us while having her evening cup of tea.
Pinkies up, Sweet Sara! ♡
Until we meet again...

Oh Sara Jane, you gave a good fight to this. Your positive attitude and sense of humor were a very rare thing to see when someone is battling that C word. Nothing stopped you. This makes you a very special person. God must have really needed an amazing angel, and he got one. I will never forget all the wonderful times all of us girls had all the way back to Villa Siete. I could go on and on. God bless your family, Kenan, and the boys. My heart is aching. But the outpouring of love people have for you in endless. Until we meet again. I love you so much. May you Rest in Peace, be cured of any pain, and watch after us you sweet angel.

As my marriage was falling apart in 2009, in an effort to find a community of believers who could support me without any family in West Texas, I sought out cornerstone Bible Church even though I lived in Brownfield 35 miles away. I started going to the Friday morning Bible study at the church and Sarah quickly became one of the warmest friends in the study. Her welcoming, sincere friendship remain even after my divorce in 2011, two difficult years of being a single mom until 2013, and my move to Oklahoma when I remarried in 2013. For six more years after I moved to another state, again with no family there, Sarah continued being a friend. She regularly and sincerely posted on the progress of my life with only the warmest, most sincere thoughts. It was this loving heart and willingness to embrace someone with not a lot of family That made her so endearing and precious to me.
