Shar'ron Baker Obituary

Shar'ron Kay Baker SHALLOWATER- Shar'ron Kay Powell Baker, 67 of Shallowater passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2013. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life with visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2013 in Lake Ridge Chapel with Father Purdue of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church officiating. Burial will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park, Woodrow. She was born April 15, 1945 in Naples, Texas to J.D. and Josephine Powell. Shar'ron loved dancing, antiques and being with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Ann Dyer and Gene Farmer. Shar'ron is survived by her husband, Bayward (BC) Baker, whom she married on August 15, 1961; a daughter, Cynthia Beaver and husband Joe; a son, Bayward (Bubba) Baker and wife Roxanne; two grandsons, Bobby Farmer and Joshua Baker; a sister Linda Mendoza; and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, medical donations may be given to Odyssey Hospice, 1717 Norfolk Ave., Lubbock, TX 79416 or St. Jude Children's Hospital. Momma it has been almost a year since you were healed and went to be with Jesus and loved ones. So much has happened this past yr and joe and I are moving back to shally! We will be closer to daddy and bubba and will keep them out of trouble, lol! We love and miss you so much! But know you are healed was worth you leaving this time on earth.
