I am so sorry to hear about your passing. This is never goodbye. You were a light in this world for sure and a prayer warrior. May God be close to Clarence, your children, extended family and friends who feel a void right now. You were loved by many.

To The Family - Thelma was such a soldier for the Lord!! Even though she had her own battles, she always sought to uplift and encourage others. I'm sure her crown in Glory will be huge, for she was a joy to everyone she knew!! Rest my Sweet Sister, I will see you in the morning!

My deepest sympathy. Sending thoughts and prayers. Thelma was a beautiful lady. "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; love leaves memories no one can steal." She is an angel and safe in the palm of God's hand!

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. I enjoyed listening to Thelma´s beautiful singing. Whenever she was invited to be on program at my church she would come and she always had a smile on her face. I will always remember her, and she will be dearly missed.

I worked with Thelma at Texas Tech Human Resources and she was amazing!!! She could make me laugh when I really didn´t want to. I called her a Diva, in every positive way imaginable. She was always put together and she had great fashion sense. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. She taught me that just because we are growing older we don´t have to be old!!! She never complained when she was sick and most didn´t even know the things she battled because she always smiled and kept moving forward. Her faith in God kept her head high. It was an honor to work with Thelma and to be able to call her my friend.

I met Thelma while working at Texas Tech University Human Resources Department. Thelma´s love for the Lord was phenomenal! We shared a love for Christian music as well as "oldies." I remember her husband going to the office to see her, and I remember the pride of a loving mother when Jerome went to our office and she introduced him to everyone there. She loved her husband, sons, and her mom so much. Thelma never complained. She was a woman of great faith. She loved menudo, which I am so glad I was able to take some to her home a couple of months ago. She will be missed. We shared many wonderful memories together. She was a very special friend.
