Willie Jo Brock

Wilson- Willie "Jo" Brock, 82 of Wilson, Texas passed away Friday, August 24, 2018. She was born May 13, 1936 to Nathan Columbus Watkins and Millie Newcomb in Whitewright, Texas. Jo received her GED and attended Eastern New Mexico University. She married Billy Brock October 11, 1952 in Lubbock. Jo was a book keeper for the Trinity Company Cotton Compress and previously worked at Plains Cotton COOP for several years. She was of the Baptist faith.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of almost 66 years, Billy; her son, Jerry Brock and wife Nikki of Wilson; grandchildren, Kami Land and spouse Micah, Sarah Ballinger and spouse Josh, Amanda Clark, Dillon Leavelle; great grandchildren, Piper, Lucy, Jade, Hayden, Krystyna, Gunner, Madeline, Abigail, and Kyndle.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Nathan and Millie; son, Donnie; one brother; and one sister.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 27, 2018 at Combest Family Funeral Homes. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Combest Family Funeral Homes with interment to follow at Green Memorial Cemetery in Wilson, Texas.
