Alan and I were graduates of Harrisburg Area Community College in 1966, PA's first community college. He introduced me to professional theatre in 65 thru volunteering at the now defunct Arena House Theatre, a life-long love I continue to profess to this day. We worked together there and on HACC's productions of The Glass Menagerie and Oh, Dad, Poor Dad, as well as on HACC's literary magazine. We lost touch after graduation, but I often thought of him and his ebullient personality, and wondered where he was. I was saddened to learn just recently of his passing; he would have been thrilled by his homage on the theatre marquee. We will meet again some day.

Sorry our paths did not cross again, but I will never forget the times we had touring shows and especially being "co-best men" at Bob Adams wedding! Always liked your wit and your humor. You were a good company manager.

Alan was hardworking, generous and had a very offbeat sense of humor. He was a wonderful and caring friend to my mother and was a truly unique individual. We will miss you Kosher and appreciate all that you've done.
