I had the honor of seeing Desi Arnaz, Jr and Linda Purl perform a concert together at the Boulder Theatre in 2006 or 2007. Desi referred to his wife Amy as Ms. Amy and the mentioned her during the concert. I just found out Amy had passed on April 11, 2024. She will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

I only just discovered that Amy passed away and I am so sorry! While I didn't know her personally, we communicated several times via snail and e-mails when I purchased some pictures and a CD. Talk about gracious, her notes just radiated warmth and kindness and I thought she was one classy lady! I'm sure many who knew her would agree with me as well. My heart goes out to Desi, Haley and all friends and family, I am very saddened to find this out at such a late date but please know you are in my thoughts and prayers and so is Amy. She was special, loved and I'm sure deeply missed. I would have loved to have really known her and will always treasure my interactions with her, what a super human being and all around good egg. Sending love and condolences to those who did have the pleasure of her company, God bless all of you.

Met Amy two times and enjoyed her warmth that she gave to a dear friend of mine who was such a big fan of your Mothers. Amy reached out during a hard time in this persons life and touched hers. I was blessed to be in her dance classes at the university.in the 70's - I remember Amy cranking Haley's baby swing at the edge of the dance floor, and thinking what a dear, sweet person she is. My prayers to Amy,s family. I am so very sorry.

Just read today and am so sorry. She was special. She sent me 2 letters about 5 years ago after writing to her about my husband dying of brain cancer at 45. And now she dies of the same thing, also on a 23rd. I was stunned and am so sorry for everyone's loss. I went to the theater a few times and Desi was working the lights. Bought a little Ricky Teddy Bear there one night that I will especially treasure now.

Although I did not personally know Amy Arnaz, I became enchanted with her and her inspiritational writings on her blog after contacting her regarding one of the Lucy Fest celebrations in Jamestown, NY. I have been fans of her husband and family forever and connected with her regarding one of the festivals. She was so kind and responsive, I was immediately touched and became a regular fan of her writing and blog. It is clear to me that Amy was a spiritually connected woman who gave much to others and had a heart filled with love. It is no surprise to me that Desi Arnaz chose a woman like this to spend life with. My sincerest condolences to the Arnaz family for this loss of a great woman. She WILL be remembered.
