Bernie (as we called him) was my therapist during the two years I lived in Las Vegas. I had just turned 21 (1972) and moved to Vegas from New England. I had culture shock and a number of problematic people swirling around me at that time. Looking back, he was one of the best therapists I ever had. He was so far ahead of the time in understanding things back then that people didn't understand. I was in private and group. I did a piece of artwork he hung in his office for a while. I still have a photo of him. A wonderful, wonderful man.

Bernie helped so many people and without asking for anything in return. He was a good person.

Bernie was a dedicated member of the OLLI/UNLV Program for many years. Many of our members participated in the insightful classes that he led. Thank you, Bernie, for the way you helped us all better understand ourselves and our world.

A wonderful psychotherapist and friend.

Bernie helped me so much as a truely talented therapist, changed my life. Later we developed one of my most cherished friendships.

He made a difference.
