Bernard Kindrick

Bernard R. Kindrick, 65, a resident of Las Vegas for 10 years, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2006, in Las Vegas. He was born June 28, 1941, in Charleston, W.Va. Bernie served in the U.S. Air Force from Aug. 6, 1959 to Oct. 23, 1963. He retired as an electronics engineer. Bernie was a lieutenant colonel in the California Wing of the Civil Air Patrol (PCR-CA-345), who will be scattering his ashes over the Pacific Ocean. He was a former member of the Nevada and Virginia Wing of the CAP. He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard E. Kindrick; mother, Ruth C. Joseph; and one brother, Michael Joseph. Bernie is survived by his daughter, Lori Ann Kieres; one grandson, Dylan Adelbert Kieres; and two granddaughters, Haley Nicole and Ashley Marie Kieres, all of Yorkville, Ill. He is also survived by one sister, Sarah J. Kellum; and five brothers, Charles W., Steven R., Samuel S. and Gregory M. Kindrick, and Joe Joseph. No service is planned.
