CECILE LEMIEUX Cecile Marie Lemieux, 86, of Las Vegas, passed away Dec. 31, 2016. Cecile was born Dec. 1930, in Boston, to Edward J. Gaudette and Madeleine Comeau. She retired from Raytheon in Billerica, Mass., and moved to Las Vegas. She has always enjoyed sports of all kinds, was an avid bowler, golfer and enjoyed travelling. She especially loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Madeleine Gaudette; father, Edward J. Gaudette; sister, Francis Doody; and brother, Richard Gaudette. She is survived by her sons, Edmond J. Lemieux of Eureka, Calif., Marc S. Lemieux of Las Vegas, and Paul D. Lemieux of Salem, Mass.; grandchildren, Christina Lemieux-Huerta of Fayetteville, N.C., Christopher T. Lemieux of Las Vegas, Joseph E. Lemieux of Las Vegas, Matthew P. Lemieux of Las Vegas, Michelle R. Lemieux of Salem, and Marc E. Lemieux of Salem; her sister, Yvonne Gaudette; brothers, Edward Gaudette Jr., Philip Gaudette and Teddy Gaudette; and sister, Jeanne Gaudette. Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13, at La Paloma Funeral Service, 5250 Stephanie St. Memorial donations may be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Compassion Care Hospice and Atria Assisted Living.
