My prayers are with the family. It has been some time since his passing and I did not get a letter from the office about this. So just finding this out today has me completley in shock. He was not only my accountant but he was my friend. I am so sorry to see him go and he will be missed by many. He is in a much better place today and wish his life was not cut short as he had so much to give to all. He will be missed greatly ! RIP my friend.

It has taken me months to wrap my brain around Cedric's death because he deserves to be here. The only consolation I have is that God needs more Angels. He is more than a friend, he is my Brother. He taught me so much...friendship, selflessness, devotion to family and unconditional love. He loved his family and loved Kathy, his beautiful wife. I remember when I asked him how he knew KATHY was the one, he simply smiled and said, "I WANT TO GROW OLD WITH HER". He loves her. He loves his children and made sure their lives was good. He loved his mother. I know he is in Heaven and I know I will see him again. I feel lucky and privileged to have enjoyed some of the sunlight in his spirit. I love you my dear Brother.

My deepest prayers are with the family and friends of Cedric Nelson. I called the office to schedule an appointment to find out that letters were sent out expressing his transition. I am completely stunned. I appreciate the way in which he kept me organized and structured when it came to my company's taxes. His professionalism and encouragement shall be greatly missed. May the spirit of God bring comfort, peace and strength to all whose life he touched.

My condolences to the family. Just received the mailing from his office notifying clients of his passing. Had no idea Cedric was ill. I saw him once per year at tax time but appreciated his easy-going manner and expertise. He will be greatly missed.

Sometimes people come into your life and there is no rhyme or reason as to why they are so good to you. These people shape your life, your personality, your outlook on life, what you become and all that you have. My dad was an angel whether he realized it or not. I will be the first to admit that he undoubtedly made me the woman I am today. He always told me how proud of me he was and how much of himself he saw in me. He created a standard that I will always hold myself up too. I will miss him every single day and I will continue to make him proud.

Cedric was our first neighbor when we moved to our house in Vegas in the early '90s. He was the neighbor that makes you believe that people are good. When I went to the hospital to have my second child he watched my first one in the wee hours of the night. Always smiling and always happy. As part of his family I morn with you all.

It breaks my heart to hear this news, I had no idea he was sick. Cedric was a great man. I just saw him in his office at the first of the year and we were laughing and just talking about life....I will cherish the memory of him laughing with me forever. You will be missed. Rest in peace my friend.

We love you Kathy! He was such a good man, and a truly amazing friend. I'm thankful for all the moments we had, the birthdays, the vacations, the holidays, and especially now the last Christmas party we shared which the next day I told Steve Sevag Mardirossian that it was literally the best night ever. In hindsight I believe it was a beautiful gift from God, one last great great night for Cedric to share with his closest friends before he began his battle... When we first heard of Cedric's diagnosis a few months back it was impossible to believe that our friend was terminally ill. Instead, most of us chose to believe that he would defy the odds, prove the Doctors wrong, and be one of those miracle survivors. Unfortunately however, after a valiant effort and strong fight, our beloved friend Cedric Nelson lost his fight with cancer on Monday. Cedric was one of the kindest, happiest, and most loving people I have ever met. He is one of the first people I met when I moved to lad Vegas and he welcomed me with open arms and a loving heart. The love he already had for my husband Steve Sevag Mardirossian carried over to me, he never judged, asked questions, or even put me threw that trial " are you right for my friend period". He just loved me and accepted me. I will be forever grateful for the beautiful friend I had in Cedric, and his strong amazing wife Kathy Artiaga Nelson . We will never forget the wonderful man you were, and the impact your friendship has had in our lives.....
In lieu of flowers the Nelson family is asking for donations to be made in Cedric's name to the American Cancer Society so that hopefully one day we will find the cure and proper treatment for this devastating disease, and nobody will have to endure the pain and suffering Cedric and his family have had to cope with during these last few months.. Rest in peace Cedric, we will love and remember you forever.

Belinda Williams Sharing! I remember the day of me and your cousin Billy Williams were getting married in las vegas at the little white chapel and when we got there who's faces did we see waiting on us to enter the chapel Kathy Artiaga Nelson and Cedric! smile emoticon that made us feel so special and loved! Both of you had busy schedules because it was on a weekday during the day , so we know you guys had jobs!!! We cherished that moment because there were no other family memories there but you guys since we flew in from Atlanta to get married!! and then we partied with you guys, since it was cuz kathys birthday week as well!!!and then we were taken to a really classy place for Sunday brunch by mr cedric nelson who told us to eat up! smile emoticon What a class act! That was in August of 2008!!!! We will miss you Cedric!! Our hearts are full!!! Thank you for the memories!!!! We were married on 8/8/2008and Cedric stood as Billys best man by his side!!! What a special guy!!!

Cedric will be missed deeply by us. We met Cedric in 1999 when he first did our taxes. He has been our tax preparer since then. He was someone we held close to our hearts. He was like family and treated us like family. We are so grateful that we had a chance to see him earlier this year when he did our taxes. Our prayers go out to his family. We loved him dearly.
