Chad Carter

Chad Jeremy Carter, 31, of Jackson, Miss., passed away June 14, 2004, in Ocala, Fla. He was born July 5, 1972, in Las Vegas. Chad lived in Jackson, Miss., for six years and was employed by Pilot Travel Center. He was formerly employed as a cook at Treasure Island and Beano's Casino. He also performed as a wandering magician at Beano's Casino. Chad is survived by his son, Ryan Jeremy Carter of Las Vegas; brother, Justin Hamilton Carter of Las Vegas; father and stepmother, Michael Floyd and Elka Carter of Henderson; mother and stepfather, Carolyn R. and David E. Clarke of Jackson, Miss.; stepbrother, Christopher Clarke and Joseph Clarke, both of Jackson, Miss.; fiancee, Samantha Frayde and her son, Brandon Jesus Frayde of Jackson, Miss.; grandmothers, Ethel Major of Gordonsville, Va. and Priscilla DuVan of Las Vegas; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces throughout the USA. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 3, at Bunkers Mortuary Chapel, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Interment to follow at Bunkers Eden Vale Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Bunkers Mortuary.
