So Dan obviously made friends very easily, however kept quality friends closer. He admired loyalty and The Golden Rule. and made sure you knew it. I met Dan at 12 years old when we decided to do a 7th grade project for Health Class at Brinley Jr High, and we became close almost immediately. Brian being Dan's best friend was always around too and I "liked" him very much as well. I could go on and on about all the people Dan introduced me to. Social Butterfly for sure, but he'probably hate that reference. As was usual here in Vegas, many of those that moved here a few years before, also left here in the same mannor. That's Vegas. However it looked like the circle we formed, all us "Native Youngsters"? We were gonna be around for a while. Looked like were gonna be good friends for a looong, looong time. The best times I can personally remember were the summer nights, LIFE at the church, then just blowing around the city.Thats how I remember Dan most fondly. Everybody all smiles, havin a great time, doin anythin or nothin. Dan, I LOVE YOU, I'm sorry for whatever reason we weren't as close towards the end. I always tried to be a good friend, I know you know that. That doesnt matter now. You were the one to show me how to accept Jesus into my heart. Thank you for that again. Gunnar was with me today and I told him it was your birthday. He seemed to enjoy that idea. He played all afternoon with a toy crane. He misses you so much. It's lonely without you.

It is very hard to say goodbye to loved one's, almost impossible to admit that they are gone. There is not a day that goes by that I don't miss my brother and it has taken myself a very long time to come to my senses and post something on his guest book.
Danny was my younger brother and we were together in this life for 38 years, and there are only a few people who you truly can count on in your life and Dan was always 1 of those persons who would always be there and in turn I would always be there for him. Now of course we might throw a fit or would cuss each other out while doing it but we were always there for each other.
There are things I wish I did different and there are things I would never change but I loved him all the same.
I feel somewhat stupid talking to a internet page but who knows maybe in the afterlife you get good wifi there and you can read this, and if you do Dan I want you to know that doing your eulogy was the most heart wrenching thing I ever had to do thus far in my life and I truly miss you with all my love and heart will allow. Your baby boy is so incredibly awesome but unfortunately I don't get to see to much of him because I'm back up in Oregon working. T gotta face time with Gunnar the other day which was really cool cuzz he was like "What's up Uncle Joe and I said what's up Gunnar!" He is you all the way.

Danny it has been 5 months since we had to say, "goodbye" to you. Every time I'm

Danny was someone I had a great deal of admiration for. He was my journeyman at McCarren Airport. Always willing to help. I never had to be embarrassed about not knowing things. In fact I came across this page while looking Danny up for welding tips. Something I wouldn't have considered doing with anyone else I've met. A true brother. Rest in peace

Danny was my friend and was always there for me. We had a lot of fun through the years on and off the job. Even without saying a word, he always knew how to keep me laughing. Just by giving me that "Danny Reese" look with that "Danny Reese" grin on his face. Personally, I loved him like a brother and I'm going to really miss having him around. And Joey, I love you, my Brother.

Danny was a good apprentice, and I enjoyed every day working with him. He loved his family, his work, and smiled all day doing it. He was a good welder, and a better chiller mechanic, one of the best kids I have worked with. I will surely miss his smile and his laughter.

I loved to visit and watch Dan with Gunnar. The pride and joy that was on his face when he looked at him was priceless. My sister married a good man. Dan will be missed and thought of always. Reese family...you are all in my prayers.

I was so sad when I heard of Danny's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with all of his family members and his local brothers mourning his passing. Danny has always been a true brother to a lot of us. Im extremely regretful that I couldn't attend his services. Danny you may be gone but you will always be in our heavy hearts.

Danny Reese had charisma...a special magnetic charm or appeal. He was a hard worker and a leader in his field. He was a wonderful father and husband. We are all going to miss Danny Reese, and are privileged to know him throughout his life.

My daughter and I were blessed to have Dan in our lives in his early 20's. He taught her how to ride a bike for the 1st time. He enjoyed playing guitar, fishing and listening to music. Dan was simple, kind and loving to everyone.

1) You, Eddie and Joey chasing me around Garndma's garden with snakes! Ewwww
2). Swimming in your tiny pool which seemed so awesome when we all played together in Vegas when we got to visit

4) Our disaster of a vacation to Yellowstone, but you guys made it fun even though you tied my hair in knots!
5) Watching the fireworks with you from your friend's balcony on New Years

Our hearts are in shock and deep sadness over Danny's passing. He was such a blessing to our family from moment he was born. The best memories I have of Danny are with Joey and Eddie when they were younger and outside being boys, riding bikes, playing with bugs, fishing, hunting Easter eggs, swimming and just having fun. I remember what a character Danny was as an adult... always had something funny to say.
To Gunnar -- I don't think there is anyone who could come up with anything negative about your dad, he was a kind, honest and good person. He was hard working and, just like his dad - he would do anything for his friends.
Through you, Gunnar, Danny will live-- I pray this will also provide comfort to your mom, grandma, uncle Joey and all who mourn his passing.
To Danny: Thank you for your smiles, laughter and for your being. We will love and miss you always.

It is with a heavy heart and the deepest regret that I mourn your passing. You were the closest thing to a brother that I could have had for three and a half decades. You influenced me greatly, and continue to do so. And although we were not as close these last few years, it was never of malice, rather the different paths we chose, each for our own reasons. Dan and I were just about inseparable for most of our twenties. We lived together for a good part of that time. I have so many memories of our times going to concerts, camping, snowboarding, and enjoying life to the fullest. He was my best friend and I considered him my brother in every sense of the word. Dan was my apprentice in 1994 for over four years and during that time I enjoyed working with him and we had a lot of fun getting the job done. It was great to be reunited with my friend around Christmas last year. Dan, you left me with a hugh mess! I have this machine all cut apart and you were supposed to weld it back together. Where am I going to find someone who welds as good as you?? I will miss your quick wit, laughter and your helping hands. My thoughts go out to his family. We will all miss you brother.

I remember Dan as this young, eager to learn, fun loving guy who had a great time working with my husband and we spent off hours visiting with him and friends. He gave us a big, beautiful dog named Bear who was just as sweet as Dan. I was so delighted to see him in Albertsons on his birthday last year standing there with that great grin, but this time he was all grown up! I was so happy that he and Ken were able to reunite one more time. I know it was special for these two brothers to be together again. My heart goes out to his family. Thank you Dan for your laughter and for letting us take care of Bear.
