Edith Greco Obituary

EDITH GRECO Edith Rose (Davis) Greco, 60, passed away Sept. 3, 2008. She was born April 30, 1948, and raised in Cincinnati, graduating from Western Hills High School. Edith married and had her first child, Jimmy. She moved to Memphis, Tenn., with her new family, and a year later, had her second child Jacquie. The family moved to Coronado, Calif., where she raised her children. She left San Diego in 1984, and settled in Las Vegas, where she had resided ever since. Anyone who knew Edith, knew she had a big heart. We used to kid about how she would give a friend the shirt off her back. She was preceded in death by her parents, June and Gene Davis. Edith loved her family and will be missed by her son, Jimmy and daughter-in-law, Cathy; her daughter, Jacquie and son-in-law, Rob Brummitt; her grandchildren, Jessica, Whitney, Jeff and little Jimmy; her significant other, Sam Scarpulla; her sister, Barbara Wilke; nieces, Jennifer Helligrath, Katie; nephew, Rob (Stacy) Wilke; her brother, Gene and Cheryl Davis, and his son, Jeff; all of her aunts, uncles; cousins (Nancy Ryan); her extended family from Vegas World, Showboat Hotel, San Diego / Coronado, Las Vegas and Cincinnati; and her beloved dog, Buttons (Boo-Boo). Edith will be missed by all the hearts that she touched. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, at Affordable Cremation & Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
