Elliot Rubenstein Obituary

Elliot Rubenstein, a member of the Baha'i Faith since 1965, was born on Feb. 11, 1936 in New York. He died from complications of a stroke he had 5 years ago on Oct. 7, 2004 in Las Vegas, after moving from Wilmette, Ill., in October 2003. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Janet; two daughters, Stacey (Bill) Hall and Jodi (John) Bostedt; six grandchildren, Shelbie, Alex, Paige, Porsha, Nathan and Stephen; his mother, Sally; his brother, Joseph; sister, Phyllis; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne. In lieu flowers, please send any donations to the American National Red Cross, Disaster Relief Fund at P.O. Box 37243, Washington D.C. 20013 or the Baha'i Faith National Fund 1233 Central St. Evanston, IL 60201.
