Elmer Meyer Obituary
MSGT. ELMER MEYER U.S. Air Force, Retired Beloved husband and father, Elmer James Meyer, 79, of Las Vegas, passed away Sept. 16, 2011. He was born Oct. 2, 1931, in Wappingers Falls, N.Y., and was a 20-year resident of Nevada. Elmer retired from the U.S. Air Force in the Philippines, where he met his wife, Manuelita. They married and were together for 31 loving years. Elmer was a proud and warm-hearted man who cared greatly for his family. He was loved by his dear wife, Manuelita Meyer; his children, Jilly, James and Melissa Meyer; his precious grandchildren, JJ and Bella; and many other dear friends and family. He will always be in our hearts. Services will be 8:40-9:20 a.m. (30 minute chapel service, 10 minute military salute) Friday, Sept. 23, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd.
